Hey friends, Blake here. I relocated to the greater Jacksonville, Florida area about 7 months ago and professional photography had taken a back burner as I dove into other priorities and projects. It shouldn't have taken a pandemic for me to finally cave to setting up an at home office solution.
I am one of those people who take pride in working remotely and as long as I have my laptop and a solid WIFI connection... I am beaming. It could be a Delta lounge traveling, grungy coffee shop, or my kitchen counter—I love changing my environment to find new wells of inspiration. Though with my increasing workload, new virtual meetings, and family moving about the house during my work times... I had to dial it in.
That’s when I connected with my pals at VIVO.
I scrolled tons of feeds on Instagram for over 2 months looking for an affordable standing desk solution before connecting with VIVO who checked the boxes of design and features. Believe it or not but there is a ton of competition in the standing desk game—I know intense right. You can go from electric to hydraulic or hand carved tops from the rarest of woods... to screwing together random boards you found in the garage or local Home Depot.
All that to say here are a few shots of my set up—which I move around the house. Day to day my desk is set up in my bedroom as my 9 month old can only be heard slightly jumping with joy in the background as I'm on a Zoom call or attempting to write this blog.
