The shift from side hustle to full-time happened when I was laid off from my role as head of marketing at a startup. At that moment, I realized the importance of having multiple streams of income. Leaning on my freelance marketing skills and the network I had built, we decided to give Chasing Creative three months as a full-time venture. That quickly turned into six months, and now, nearly a year later, it’s our full-time gig.
